Training for educational centers
The Training for Educational Centers service from Tu Guía Montessori, led by Miriam Escacena, Montessori Guide and Positive Discipline Educator, offers a comprehensive solution for nursery schools (0-6 years) and public, private, or charter educational centers that wish to implement the Montessori pedagogy.
This program combines in-person and online training, personalized advisory services, and consultancy to transform classrooms towards a more active and respectful education, tailored to the needs of each center.
Target Audience
For public, charter, and private schools, seminars of about 10 hours (minimum 10 participants) are organized through teacher training centers or unions (CCOO, USO, UGT), with the possibility of funding through European funds such as the PROA+ Project. Examples include Escuela Infantil VEO VEO and CEIP San Benito in Madrid, the latter recognized by the Ministry of Education.
For private and charter centers, the training can be subsidized via FUNDAE, with Tu Guía Montessori accredited to manage the process. Schools like Serimar Arcoiris (Alcorcón), Montpellier (Madrid), and SEK have implemented this model.
The service includes:
- Initial meeting with the management team to analyze needs and objectives.
- Personalized action plan with online training on the basics of Montessori, in-person training (minimum 8 hours) with scientific materials, and workshops with families to engage the educational community.
- Documentation such as album sheets and curriculum adaptation.
- Long-term support to consolidate the transformation, with continuous evaluation of results.
The approach is not limited to Montessori, covering topics such as Baby Signs and Multiple Intelligences, and promotes educational innovation. Notable cases, such as CEIP San Benito, have been featured in media like El País and Magisnet, highlighting the benefits of applying Montessori in public and private classrooms.
